Mum told me something tonight that I thought was so amusing, that I want to share it with you all..
President Hu is over in the UK and visiting vaious places. Now, we know that China doesn't have the greatest record in human rights and stuff. However, it's is a fast emerging super-power and few countries in this world dare upset them knowing that it could cost them lots of money in the future. So, President Hu is bound to be met by protestors left right and centre in the UK.
So what have they done to make him seem more popular?
Well, they've paid a group of OAP's £10 each (there's about 50 in the group) to travel to London, greet President Hu and to look happy and cheer him on.
Fucking hell, they have to pay OAP'S to make him seem popular...
