Venice

I'm trying to locate someone who recorded the BBC series "Venice". It's a history of Venice as told by Venetian Francesco Da Mosta. Now Venice wasn't and isn't my favourite city in the world. My visits there have found it to be expensive and a bit depressing given how it's sinking. But this series, telling the rich history of Venice and why it's like it is was simply brilliant - It made me want to visit the place again with a newly discovered fondness and understanding for the place and how it came to be as it is.

Not many programmes have had that effect on me. But if Wasps ever get Treviso in the group stages and the DWs organise a trip to Venice for the match - I'm there!
